Connect the power plug to the wall outlet

Setting the Clock and Alarm

Step A: Setting the Clock time

Check the set is switched off

Press

SET TIME/PROGRAM

Hold down or press

HOUR/ MIN

repeatedly to adjust the hours and minutes

respectively. Release

HOUR/ MIN

when you have reached the correct setting.

Press

SET TIME/PROGRAM

to confirm.

Helpful hints: If no action is executed within 10 seconds, the display will return to previous

time setting

Step B: Setting the Alarm time and mode

Check the set is switched off

Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 once or more to switch on the alarm and

select tuner, CD or buzzer alarm modes.

Hold down or press

HOUR/ MIN

repeatedly to adjust the hours and minutes

respectively. Release

HOUR/ MIN

when you have reached the correct setting.

Press

SET TIME/PROGRAM

to confirm.

3 ways to switch off the alarm

During the alarm call, press ALARM RESET/ y .

•

During the alarm call, press REPEAT ALARM.

•

Press

ALARM 1 or ALARM 2

once or more until the AL1 or AL2 disappears.

Listening to the Radio

a Press y to switch on the set.

b Press

TUNER once or more

to select TUNER.

c Press and hold

SET TIME/PROGRAM

until the frequency and PROG flash.

• Available stations are programmed (10 FM and 10 AM).

d Press AM/FM

to select your desired waveband, AM or FM.

e Press the

PRESET

3,4 buttons once or more until the desired preset station is dis-

played.

Playing a CD

This player plays Audio Discs including CD-R/CD-RW.

a Lift the CD door at

LIFT TO OPEN.

b Insert a CD with the printed side facing up, and close the CD door.

c Press y to switch on the set.

d Press

TUNER once or more

to select CD.

e Press

38 to start playback.

f To stop CD playback, press 9.
